Senior AssociateBakani is a Senior Associate in the Audit department based in Edinburgh. Originally from Zimbabwe, he obtained his degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Edinburgh.
Bakani is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, and his professional experience spans a broad range of sectors, having led and supported in all stages of the audit cycle from planning through completion across a range of engagements. A forward‑thinking professional, Bakani plays an active role in shaping the future of audit through his involvement in the department’s AI Working Group and the firmwide Technology Innovation Hub.
He has championed the use of data analytics in journal testing and remains committed to exploring software and tools such as Copilot to drive efficiency and insight. He is also a valued contributor to the audit social committee, helping to foster a positive and connected team culture.
