Brona MacDougall
DirectorBrona is a Director in our Personal Tax team, working with families, people and businesses on inheritance tax, executry and personal tax advisory and planning.
Brona started her career as a doctor in Dublin; she left the medical profession and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Scotland. Since then, she has qualified as a Trust and Estates Practitioner and Chartered Tax Adviser. She’s worked in a number of locations, with a very broad client base including individuals and larger corporate structures. She authored the book 'Inheritance tax in Scotland' for Bloomsbury Professional.
Brona has an in-depth understanding of the issues found in farming, farm tenancies and agricultural estates, as she herself lives on a working farm.
