Emma Watson
Senior ManagerEmma gained her Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Glasgow, and soon after joined a large audit firm based in Glasgow.
In November 2020, Emma joined the audit team in Edinburgh at CT as a trainee audit associate and completed her CA qualification with ICAS. Since then, Emma has developed her skillset with CT and worked her way to become an Audit Manager.
She particularly enjoys how every day is different in audit and values the relationships she builds with her clients. Emma's experience and specialism with corporate clients is reflective of the portfolio she looks after, from clients in renewable energy, property, construction, manufacturing and beyond.
Emma loves to learn and so particularly enjoys the technical side of accounting and audit! In addition to her client-facing role, Emma believes that it is the people who make CT a great place to work. She is involved in setting the strategic aims and delivery of the Audit Department People Group, is a People Pathway Ambassador and takes pride in her role as a line manager and mentor. Emma is also part of the team who review the risks and improvements at a firm wide level.
