MJ Mwenebungu
Assistant ManagerMJ is an Assistant Manager within the Audit team, specialising in Audit Business Processes.
She joined the firm in 2022 as an Associate following prior experience gained at a Big Four firm, and has since progressed to Assistant Manager. MJ graduated from Heriot-Watt University in 2019 with a degree in Mathematical Sciences, and while her route into audit was unplanned, the profession has proven to be a natural fit for her strong drive to understand complexity and solve problems in a structured and thoughtful way.
MJ’s role has both a client-facing and internal focus. On the client side, she specialises in delivering high-quality audits for new and technically complex clients, working collaboratively with clients to make the audit process as efficient and straightforward as possible. Internally, she leads on strengthening and developing audit business processes, applying her passion for problem-solving to improve audit quality, consistency, and efficiency as the Audit team continues to grow.
MJ is also an active member of the CT Technology Innovation Hub, where she is focused on how technology can be used to streamline audit processes and support the ongoing evolution of the audit profession.
