Paul Mason
PartnerPaul leads CT’s Corporate Finance team, which he built from the ground up after joining the firm as a Partner in 2016. He advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, strategic reviews, valuations, fundraising and more, drawing on experience from investment banking and capital markets roles in London and Scotland. Paul has advised on over $10 billion of M&A and financing transactions during his career to date.
Paul’s interest in growth and economic ecosystems runs deep. He is currently studying towards a DBA at the University of Strathclyde’s Hunter Centre, researching the Scottish entrepreneurial ecosystem: a reflection of his commitment to developing our understanding of how businesses succeed and scale.
Clients value Paul’s insight, rigour and broad experience, alongside his genuine enthusiasm for learning and improvement. He is a founding member of the firm’s Executive Committee (ExCo), leading on Growth. Outside the firm, Paul has a wealth of non-executive directorship experience and currently serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the Audit and Risk Committee at Riverside Scotland, a large, Scottish housing association.
